It is possible for resident and non-resident foreigners to finance a condominium or a single-family home in
the country. Banks offer between 50% and 70%, with an LTV range of 9% to 14%. The option is available with
interest rates from 7% for up to 25 years, before they are converted into another type of currency (either
Dominican pesos/US dollars). This means that, if you need money sooner rather than later, this could be to
your advantage, as it will allow buyers who are Dominican citizens vacationing abroad but want to own a
home here.
